2023-2024 HEARTS OF BLUE SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
As indicated in our Mission Statement, the Hearts of Blue Foundation, Inc.
will provide financial assistance to high school and college students.
The members of the Foundation are especially passionate about education at
every level-from pre-school to college and beyond. Because of our commitment to provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education, three (3) deserving Mercer County high school students were selected to receive scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year.
2023-2024 Hearts of Blue Scholarship Recipients
Gavin Santiago
Gavin is a recent graduate of Steinert High School.
He enjoys rock climbing, volleyball, hanging out with friends and walking his dogs.
He is currently attending Lehigh University enrolled in the Arts and Engineering program.
His aspiration is to graduate and earn a job that he enjoys doing.
He plans to pursue a career as an Architect or Civil Engineer.
Ta’Niyah Marie Parker
Ta’Nayah is a recent graduate of Trenton Central High School.
She is currently attending Mercer County Community College, but will transfer to North Carolina A and T for the Spring semester.
During her time at Trenton Central High she served as the Vice President of the Senior Class, was a member of the Drama Club, and the Backstage Crew.
Her major is Criminal Justice, her minor is Theatre.
Hailey Liberto
Hailey is a recent graduate of Steinert High School.
As a student at Steinert, she was a member of the lacrosse team, Spanish National Honors Society, the Academic Honor Roll, Key Club and Student Government.
She is attending Salisbury University where she is majoring in Business Management and minoring in Spanish.
Her ultimate goal is to be a business owner and to also provide internships to college students.
